Ok so my computer has been freezing on startup, blue screening, and shutting down randomly for the past 1-2 months. I have set up various threads with all my problems in the past. It seems to have been fixed at random times with little to no interference. It was fixed for the last 12 days at this point before it blue screened when i started up tf2 just now. Now it freezes on welcome screen. Is it worth trying anything?

Try using system restore to reset your pc back to when it was working.
Try booting in safe mode with minimal drivers. If that works, look to a driver problem.
On the chance that ram is bad, run memtest86+ which does not need an os.
You should complete a full pass with NO errors.

Update: I have disabled windows media player and Bonjour in services. This seems to have helped because the computer will run for a good four minutes before freezing. I did this because events viewer noted a lot of cap12 errors along with bonjour errors. Any advice on fully solving the problem?
