Poor SLI Performance

Hello Tomshardware, I just picked up a pair of the new Titan X and I'm getting pretty afwul performance when gaming. It seems that SLI scales negatively, while a single card still performs worse than the benchmarks I've seen. For example, Toms has 1440p Benchmarks of The Witcher 3 and The Division with average framerates of 110 and 87 respectively where I average 93 and 72 with an overclock of 200 on the core and 1GHz on the memory. With SLI enabled, Witcher drops down to 77 and The Division hovers at about the same framerate. I am running an i7-5960x at 4.4GHz on an Asus Deluxe with Nvidia Driver version 369.05 and a 2-slot Nvidia High-bandwidth SLI bridge.

Yes, I've got RivaTuner running which reports the CPU at about 50c, GPU 1 in the high seventies, and GPU 2 in the mid sixties. The core clock for both GPUs remain around 1950MHz.

Does rivatuner shows what % cpu usage you have most of the time ? Also have you tried without overclocking the Video cards ?
Its normal to have difference than toms 1440p benchmarks, also having a sli doesn't mean you will see immediate boost.
Sli is rarely supported by games.

CPU usuage is around 25% in Witcher, and 35% in The Division. I notice GPU utilization at 99% with one card, and low 50's to mid 60's with two cards. It seems like most AAA titles have at least some support for SLI these days, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Try to disable sli and check whats your performance, both of those games have huge problems with sli setups performance.
There are many different solutions for each of them, but those are just temporary workarounds.
If you have better performance on single card, prolly sli profile is not "fixed" yet.
