I know it's a strange question but let me explain.
I upgraded my motherboard on my desktop PC that I build. It was the MSI M7. From what I read, installing Windows 7 was a pain and so I decided to just install Windows 10. I read that putting your Windows 7 key allowed Windows 10 to register the key correctly. So I decided to avoid the headache and go ahead and install Windows 10 instead.
So, I went on my laptop and downloaded Windows 10 from a website from Microsoft since my desktop PC does not have a CD drive installed. After installing it, I noticed that in Action Center, it says to switch to tablet mode. Going into my Power and Sleep settings allows me to choose and customize a power plan on when my PC is plugged to power or when it's not. I had not seen this before but only on laptops.
My question is, did I accidentally download the laptop version of Windows 10 on my laptop and install it on my desktop PC.. Or is that how all versions of Windows 10 is? Just wondering because I find it a bit strange.
