Im stress testing my fx 6300 at stock speed with prime25 small fft test. Im running it for 2 hrs. No errors or warnings yet.
My specs:
Fx 6300
Gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2pt rev 4.1
4gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair value select ram
Corsair vs450 psu
No gfx

So is my system ok?
Should i stop the test now or should i do the test for another 2hrs?

Plz help.
I have not done any overclocking.

Solution
After 2 hours and no error messages, then your system will be running fine and successfully, so you are good to go. Most people don't even test their systems for 2 hours (Me being one of them) and it runs perfectly fine.

N what about my Temps?
After 2 hrs my temps are:
Vrms=64c max
Socket=59c max
Core=42c max
(monitored using CPUID HARDWARE MONITOR)

Them temperatures are lower than the suggested highs. I tend to go for around 60c, but I think the maximum people recommend you to go over is 80c, whereas most people tend to go for 70c. So them temperatures are normal.

You are good to go! :)

thanks a lot mate.
Another thing,
Now i was running small fft test.
Will this test do the job or should i run the other two test also(large fft & blend test)????

Fx cpu's begin throttling around 65c, not 80c. 70-80c would be more the upper limits for an intel cpu. Many thermal monitoring programs have difficulty accurately reading amd cpu's, you may want to use amd overdrive instead. It doesn't give a temp as in 0c-80c, instead it gives a thermal margin or how many degrees until throttle temp. If it reads 20c then you're 20c away from the threshold, if it reads 10c then it's actually hotter and only 10c away from the limits.

I'd agree, for thermal testing especially there's no need to run p95 for hours and hours. Small fft's are going to give a steady state load that doesn't fluctuate or bounce around keeping temps steady. After 10-15min you should have a solid idea of what the temps are.

Well its really up to you. If you ran the small test and no error messages came up then I would say that everything is good, but if you would like to seriously stress your GPU and see if there are any errors or anything then try the large tests, there's no harm in doing it.
