I just recently decided to get into PC gaming. I plan on building my PC on my own after months of research. But before purchasing the components I wanted to know what PSU should I use. Mainly what is the right amount of wattage I need from my build. I have tried using wattage calculators online, as well as the one pcpartpicker but I'm not sure what exactly to trust since my results vary. So I resorted to none other than asking my fellow PC enthusiasts of whom I trust to help me on this matter this is my PC

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/nFkvnn

Here are my specs

Intel Core i7 6700k
Be Quiet Shadow Rock LP
EVGA Z170 Stinger
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2400 Mem
Samsung 850 Evo Series 500GB 2.5 SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA GeForce GTX 980ti 6GB Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+
Lian Li PC-05sx (HTPC) ( Since this is a Mini-ITX case the psu must be a SFX fully modular PSU)
Samsung SN-208FB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

Now my choices for a PSU where originally ranging from being
1. SilverStone 500W SFX-L Form Factor 80 PLUS GOLD Full Modular
2. SilverStone SFX Series 550W, 80 Plus Gold Fixed Cable PSU SX1550 550 Power Supply
3. SilverStone Technology 600W SFX Form Factor 80 PLUS GOLD Full Modular Power Supply

Thanks you all I advanced for the help :)

Well my usual method for determining how much power I need is using a fairly reputable calculator and then just adding ~100watts and calling it a day, so i say you should be good with the 600 watt model.

Just a side note, have you considered getting the gtx 1070 instead of the gtx 980ti? it has better performance for significantly less power draw and a cheaper price.

I fof one am freaking out at the fact that someone responded to me in such a sort amount of time thank you very much. While I'm writing this I'm laughing with joy. Thank you. And I didn't detail it in my first post but I ordered all the parts on that list in February but I had a issue with building it because for one I ordered a motherboard that didn't have a m.2 key to support wifi which I need since the router Is quite far away and there is no chance my mother would allow me to drill holes and feed Ethernet cables throughout the house. I also bought the incorrect PSU that was 750watts and wasn't a sfx PSU so I had the return both parts and I am only now ordering the parts I actually need to complete this build so with that being said this month I finally got around to gaining all the info I could so that once I built my system I knew exactly all the features of my PC and its hardware. Especially the motherboard and the PSU.
