Hello. I am currently looking around for how to re-enable display scaling instead of gpu scaling in nvidia controll panel. I could use it when I was on windows 7 with the exact same setup but since I upgraded to windows 10 it got removed, and I really need and want it back because IMO gpu scaling feels delayed.
(This is the scaling thing im talking about)
Right click on desktop > nvidia > Adjust desktop size and position(under display) > Then under the "scaling tab" you should be able to see "Perform scaling on" then you can pick Display Scaling or GPU Scaling.

Could it harm my monitor to try out that fix?
I have an Asus VG248QE 144hz monitor.
nvidia gtx 970 msi.
intel core i7-4790k.
16gb ram.
