Mouse: Gigabyte M6980x (Yeah nothing that great)
So I booted up my Desktop PC this morning to a very bizarre problem with this mouse, it started rapidly (and Randomly) switching between its "3" DPI settings without any pattern.
Even the lights on it indicate which DPI setting its on, its as if I'm switching it myself, only I'm not.
So far I tried to:
Restart my PC - Problem persists
Unplug and Re-plug it back in (Thats what sh-...sorry) - Problem persists
Trying a different USB Port - Problem persists
Trying to fiddle around with the Mice software - Problem persists
Plugging the mouse to a laptop I have here - Yet, the problem still persists
So anyone else has experienced this problem? It doesn't feel like the Mouse is broken since the laser sensor on it is still working as it should,
its just that the mouse decided to get drunk and switch its DPI whenever it pleases. Which leads me to believe its either some Windows Update messing with it or (hopefully not) that its Life has come to an end.
