Hello All
I recently installed Kali Linux and for some reason I have to revert it back to Windows, so while installing Windows 10 through USB boot, it showed an error that HardDisk should be NTFS type. So I tried formatting HardDisk in NTFS type in kali-linux but got an error, Here is the screenshot

I wanted to know the reason behind this and any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Did you delete all the existing partitions first (in that same window)? It's really best to let the Windows 10 installer create the necessary partitions rather than using an external program to do so, or using existing partitions.

Presumably your Kali Linux is installed on /dev/sda1. So you can't unmount it.

But you shouldn't need to; the Windows installer should be able to repartition the disk. The "Where do you want to install Windows" screen has options to delete, create and format partitions.

Yes there was repartioning but option to create was unactive. So I wasn't able to do it.
