Custom Cables for PSU

I have a Seasonic M12II 620, which has a 18pin+10pin sleeved together and going into the main atx 24 pin slot. How does one go about custom cables in this case? Should I just get a 24pin atx extension (male and female) cable and connect it to the end of the existing one and then into the motherboard atx 24 pin slot? Will upload pics if necessary.

Awesome. I was afraid I was going to waste money buying cables. Also can I use any 8 pin+6pin connector for the GPU?
Because, looking at the store, there is an 8pin connector (doesn't say anything other than that), a 6+2pin (vga) and 6pin (vga).
