Motherboard doesn't fit in the case

I'm using the Cooler Master MasterBox 5 and the Asus Maximus VIII Hero. Unfortunately I couldn't find any intructions or tutorials about this so I'm not even sure if I'm placing the motherboard on the correct type of screws.

If you look in the middle of the case where the motherboard goes it tells you what holes to put the standoffs in for a ATX motherboard.

I know, I put the 7 screws that are similar to the two screws that were already in the case there. They're not the same though.

Yes, they look like that. The two that were already inside the case look a tiny bit different than the others though. It looks like the motherboard won't align with the panel because the it's a bit too high and because the stuff can't fit through the panel the motherboard doesn't align with the screws below it either. It does work without the panel though.

You got to push the board back into the I/O shield that mounts in the back of the case it taked a bit of force but not a lot.
You did mount that shield from the inside of the case right.

Does anyone know what to do?

I had to use more force than I expected to put the io panel in the case.
