RAID 10 volume disappears

I've completed my new build, installed all updates and software, and I'm having a strange problem where my RAID 10 Volume 1 disappears. Sometimes it disappears while I'm using the computer, sometimes it will disappear on restart.

When the volume disappears on restart, the UEFI BIOS will hang up for about 5 minutes.

All 4 RAID 10 drives are on one daisy chain SATA power supply cable from the PSU. I've found that if I unplug the cable from one port and into another, the volume will appear. But it will then disappear again, either randomly or on restart. When I purchased the PSU, it came in a factory box that was opened, and it wasn't a brand new box. The PSU itself did not show any signs of use. I don't have problems with any other components loosing power.

Any thoughts/advice on what might be happening? Thanks in advance. mpp

That's what I'm wondering, but I don't quite know how to trouble shoot or prove it. I bought through Amazon, and have a good return policy. I may just purchase a new one and return the old one and state it wasn't in new condition.

This PSU seems to be running really hot. No actual temp on it, but to the touch it feels way to hot to be normal.

Any other ideas as to what might be going on?
