I want to upgrade my cpu, not sure if I want to wait for intel's new ones or get 6700k?

Do I saw that the next gen of intel cpus are going to be coming out in the next couple months, and I am currently saving money up for an upgrade. How long do you think it will be for them and will it be worth waiting a month or two?

Well even a 6700k would only be a minor upgrade over your 4690k. Why spend so much money on a custom loop cooling system for practically no gain?

Intel's next gen CPUs will be built on the same 14nm process and will likely offer something like a 1-5% performance per clock improvement. The major changes with Kaby Lake are in the iGPU, which you're probably not planning to use. On the other hand, it'll probably be priced about the same.

I have a 4690k, but I messed up installing my 110gtx and now I will need a new motherboard since I want to do a custom loop, but all of the motherboards that are left in stock are the ones that don't look very nice. So I was just going to do the upgrade now, but I am not sure anymore.
