Trying to install my new 250gb SSD and running into difficulty. As I'm unable to clone to the SSD due to having about 500ish gb on my 1TB HDD, I tried doing a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit using an older msi Home Premium recovery DVD.

Installation seemed to go alright, but when I got to my new desktop after booting from the SSD, the network icon had a red X over it so I had no internet, and I had no option for a dual monitor setup when going into my display settings. Is this just an issue with the motherboard drivers or am I missing something?

System specs:
i5-4440
ASRock H97M ANNIVERSARY LGA1150
8GB RAM (2x4)
Sapphire TRI-X AMD Radeon R9 290 OC 4GB

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If I still have the disc that came with my motherboard would that cover the LAN or would I need to download that separately. This is crap I should know considering I built my rig, so apologies for the dumb questions.

For the LAN adapter, the one from the DVD is fine.
After that, go to the manufacturers websites and download the most recent.
