Hello everyone,

I have recently purchased some parts to build a new pc. Trust me I know these aren't good at all but it's a massive upgrade to what I previously had.

Anyway, here are the components:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 overclocked to 3.60 GHz
GPU: GeForce 8600 GTS (can't really buy anything that needs more than 1 PCIE pin
Motherboard: Intel Desktop Board DQ77MK
PSU: Alpine 750w Silent

So, could this handle most new games on at least medium settings? GTA V, Minecraft, the sorts...

That GPU is going to hold you back. The newer cheaper cards out on the market would make your machine awesome.

It would be another $200-$250 though. I would look at the RX 480 or the GTX 1060. Both are around that price range, perform very very well, and use only a single 6 pin reference, or some AIB cards use an 8 pin

Hi man,Unfortunately your gpu it's too old, that's why you will not be able to play gta V,but minecraft, you can handle it with 60+ fps :) .
