On BF4 I can run 1080p@75hz+ avg, and 1440p @ 62hz avg.

On a 60hz tickrate server am i reciving no benefit from the extra fps on the 1080p side? So if I increased my graphics to 1440p will I see no difference in fps?

Solution
As far as I know, tickrate is only the times per seconds that the information is updated in the server and sent to the clients. It will not cap your fps.
If your fps is higher, the movements should see more fluid, and perhaps in not every fps you will "see updates" that come from the server.
As the graphics for your player and other players are rendered by your pc, you shouldn't have any problems having higher fps than tickrate.
