How can I upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit Windows?

I have Windows 7 32 bit and the processor supports a 64 bit os .
I want to upgrade to a 64 bit windows os.
1.Can i upgrade to windows 7 64 bit without a clean install?
( Having to format my entire hard disk?)

2.How can I upgrade to windows 10 64 bit? , can I do it directly?

3.Is there any way at all to get any 64 bit windows os without a clean install?

No, there is no way to do it without a clean install. If you have a valid licence key for Windows 10, then clean install Win10 and skip over 7, as you do not need it if you want to go to Windows 10. The free upgrade offer has ended, so clean installing Windows 7 will not give you an upgrade path to Windows 10.

There is no upgrade path from 32 to 64. What I mean is a clean install is the only option

Now the free period is over but you might be lucky as I have heard they have extended it unofficially a few more days.

What you need to do is download the win 10 media creation tool and make a USB or DVD. You can use this to install the 64 bit version and if necessary run unactivated until you can afford a licence. As I said, you can try to activate with win 7 licence but it may not work

1. No. You will have to install the version of Windows you wish, fresh.

2. No. Use you Windows 10 CD/ USB and install it over, fresh.

3.Sadly it is not possible to do so.

If you want to save all your files, simply copy them onto another drive.
