Hi, I've been recently collecting all my parts for my PC and i'm wondering if i need a WiFi card in order to hook up an adapter to my PC.Also, in the future i want to hook up an Ethernet cable to my PC when i get a closer setup to my router, would i need to uninstall the adapter/WiFi card or both for the Ethernet cable to work.(Sorry if i'm confusing you its just i don't know to much about this stuff lol.)

Solution
If your motherboard doesn't have a built-in WiFi adapter (most don't) then yes, you'll need to buy one.

This can be either an internal card or an external USB one.

If it's only going to be a temporary situation till you can get your router closer to your PC, I would opt for external USB WiFi adapter as you can simply unplug it when you get ethernet hooked up.

You really do need at least one PC in the house hooked up by ethernet as it's a much more reliable connection, and is also essential when configuring the router's wireless settings should it be necessary in the future.
