Optimize online gaming ping because of other devices

so my ping is too high for me to play dota 2 (200 ping if my sister streams videos, which she does everyday), normal ping for me is 80-90
also i think qos will not work for me as i see, it is only upload that is affected by these kind of qos(see below)

Your link did not post but you are correct most routers only do upload QoS.

Still QoS is just a technical way to in effect unplug you sisters computer when you are using games. What really is the difference of you going and telling her to get off because you are running a game and using QoS to do it. I will assume you have a prior agreement to implement the QoS in the first place.

Your only real solution is to buy more bandwidth. I am going to bet she considers her video watching just as important as you do your games.
