I was seeking some advice for upgrading my PSU and GPU, below are the specs:

DESKTOP SPECS
ASUS Essentio CM6830 Series
Windows Premium 7 64-BIT
Mobo: ASUS P8H61M-Pro
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 530
PSU: PC9045-ZA1G 330W

I purchased the following:
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1, 80+ GOLD 650W, Fully Modular
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+

My main concern is will I have any issues installing the GPU onto the mobo? For example, will there be an issue with the GPU (PCI 3.0 x16) going into a PCI 2.0 x16 slot on the mobo? And lastly, will the PSU be fine with my setup?

I originally got the Desktop in 2011 and just upgrading what I can afford right now. I plan on building a completely a whole new build once I save enough money. I mainly play DOTA 2 and SC2. Thank you for any input provided.

Solution
I don't see any issues using the CPU and GPU. PCI 3.0 is backwards compatible. You have way more wattage than you need with the 650.
