GTR Evolution(Race 07 series) won't save my best laps(replays)

The Timeattack feature inside the game won't save my best laps either, I click it, I'm prompted to confirm, I click yes and there's nothing there.

Has anyone had the same problem with any of the Race07 series games?

I was able to dig up this old thread from 2008 and someone saying they weren't seeing replays saved either on their Windows Vista rig. Maybe it can help... http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/problem-race-07-replays-and-time-attack-files-in-vista.1505/

Hi. I have most of the Simbin racing sims (GTR, GTR2, EVO/Race 07) and have never come across this issue. Have you confirmed the directory where the saved replays are stored? I have mine going to an external hard drive. Your best bet on getting an answer is getting on the Steam support forum for it. Keep in mind that most people have moved on to Raceroom Experience which was supposed to have been GTR3. Good luck!

Hey, thx for your input, but I can't seem to find the 'config.ini' file you mentioned. I searched it in the c:\Users\UserName\RACE07 folder and Windows 10 tells me the file is in there, but when I open that folder it's not!?

I've ticked the 'show hidden files/folders' box in the configurations but still that config.ini file won't show for some reason.

Is it somewhere else or what??

Ok, I've solved through one solution in your link. It turns out since I was using the offline version installation and had multiple installs, the config.ini file had doubled replay paths where there should be only one, as well as the Timeattack feature and other features. Once I corrected the config.ini file, all was well again.
