Are these parts compatible? Sorry, I'm not knowledgeable about this compatibility thing.

Intel Core i7-6700 3.40-4.0GHz Skylake
MSI Z97 Gaming 3 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB Single DDR3 1866 CL10
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Sata ST1000DM003 Hard Drive
MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4GB
Aerocool GT Black w/ VX-500 500watts psu

Solution
Those parts are all compatible but the message is the same for the PSU.

Also, that system is using older parts, the new Skylake processors start with 6xxx and make more sense for a new build.

Is this PC mainly for gaming? If so, an i5 would be a sensible choice, i7's are overkill for gaming really and the price difference would allow you to get a better GPU like an RX480 or GTX 970
You can downgrade the motherboard to a H* or B* series motherboard (H110 mootherboard for ex).
The build itself its a Skylake, so, it doesn't support DDR3, it supports DDR4.
I would pick another PSU brand like XFX, EVGA or Seasonic.

But, how much is your budget? resolution to play? which games? country? Are you interested in overclocking?

You need either a z170, h170, b150 or h110 motherboard. Some of those will work with DDR3 but better to go with DDR4 RAM as its the new standard and works with all the motherboard chipsets mentioned above.

Pick a better PSU. Something like the new Corsair CX450m would be a good budget option (make sure it's the new version with a white label not the old version with a green label)

Oh, I'm getting the parts from this website: dynaquestpc.com
My budget is strictly P40,000 (maximum)
Yes, this can be used for gaming.
Can you help me build a decent working one? I'm sorry I'm a noob at this.

i did this base (forgot the ram lol, 8gb is fine DDR4).

Solid build for 1080p.

I just choosed the motherboard randomly, so, pick whatever you like or a cheaper one. The differences between H* mobos an B* ones are mainly the USB ports and SATA.
The PSU i choosed it if maybe in the future you want to OC the GPU, but, if you are plenty sure you're not going for OC, then downgrade it to 550W or 520W from Seasonic!.

Total: ₱37,930.00

Add an SSD if you can, at least 128gb!
Ask if you have more questions!

Oh, your response made me so happy. Thanks for taking time helping a naive one like me. About the graphics card brand, which brand is better ASUS or MSI? Also can I upgrade i5 6600 to i5 6600K?

Both will perform as same. I just picked the ASUS GTX 1060 because i saw it first, no hard feels against MSI. Just go for the cheaper one and again, you can save some bucks choosing a lower end motherboard and a lower wattage power supply (but try to stay with Seasonic, you will not regret it). Maybe with that difference, you can affort a SSD or CASE if you need it.

Ok. Can I upgrade 6600 to 6600K? Also, I can't seem to find the Memory part.

I see. I guess I won't be needing the K one since I'm not going to overclock. But how about the Memory part? The DDR thing?

RAM: Check this out: https://dynaquestpc.com/product/gskill-ripjaws-v-8gb-dual-ddr4-2400-f4-2400c15d-8gvr/

They're not the best from the rig i builded (Overkill frecuency, but it will work), but almost the best what i can pick from that site.

Is this one better (https://dynaquestpc.com/product/corsair-vengeance-8gb-2x4gb-ddr3-1866-cl9-cmz8gx3m2a1866c9/)? A friend of mine who uses this brand says it's better.

This is the final CPU build (following your advice):

Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 3.30-3.90GHz Skylake
Motherboard: Asus H110M-A D3
Graphics Card: Asus GTX 1060 STRIX OC 6GB DDR5
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB Dual DDR4 2400 (F4-2400C15D-8GVR)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB WD10EZEX
PSU: Seasonic M12II-620 EVO 620W 80Plus Bronze Fully Modular

I think there's still something missing here. The casing?

Well, in memory they aren't a big differences between brands but your kit seems to be the best with your build, due the frecuency.

The case, choose yourself one you likes!

If you're not going to OC the GPU, then downgrade the PSU to a 520W from Seasonic, with that saved cash (including a cheap motherboard), pick a nice SSD (you will not regret this decision but, its your choice!) or case!

Sorry, I've been really busy the past couple of hours and didn't have time to reply to you until now.

The build above looks pretty good but there's a few suggestions I have....

Change the PSU to this https://dynaquestpc.com/product/seasonic-520w-m12ii-520-80plus-bronze-modular/ You REALLY don't need 620W for that system, you don't even need 400W really but there aren't any decent ones on that site for less than 520W.

That motherboard is extremely basic and doesn't actually support DDR4 (I'm rather shocked by this!) I would suggest this as a better alternative https://dynaquestpc.com/product/msi-b150m-bazooka/ as it supports DDR4 and also has USB 3.1 or there's this one which has a better networking chip https://dynaquestpc.com/product/msi-b150m-night-elf/

For a case/chassis you should pick something you like the look of in a mid-tower size. You can't go wrong with this as a buget case https://dynaquestpc.com/product/thermaltake-versa-h21-windowed-mid-tower/ or this one is a bit more but also nice https://dynaquestpc.com/product/corsair-carbide-spec-01-mid-tower-casing/

Oh. Don't be sorry if you haven't replied early. I understand you're busy too. Well, I'm glad you were still able to assist me and I highly appreciate that. Thank you for building me a CPU. I have a few questions though.

1. Is ZOTAC a good brand? I never heard of it. I only know MSI and ASUS. (please forgive my ignorance)
2. Is SSD really necessary? If not, can I remove it and just upgrade i5 6650 to i5 6600 cause the latter one has a better GHz.
3. Can I upgrade to i5 6600 without changing the other components?

plywrlw

Yes, Zotac is a respectable brand, their coolers aren't quite as pretty and maybe a smidge less quiet than Asus or MSI's but once it's inside your PC you won't care and you won't notice the difference!

The difference in GHz will again not be noticeable, having an SSD will make a much bigger difference in your experience than an extra 100, 200 MHz. I cannot stress how much the 6600 is not worth the big jump in price.

Alright. I'm sticking to what you have built for me. I already contacted the store and asked for the availability of these parts. As of today, they only lack the GPU, casing and the SSD. They will inform me once they got these restocked. Thank you so much for all your help. Sorry for the trouble I may have caused you, especially the time you spent building this CPU. I can't thank you enough. Have a wonderful day sir. :)
