Hey, i was thinking that would this upgrade work?

I was thinking about upgrading my GPU to an Asus ROG STRIX AMD Radeon RX 480 OC 8GB
from my current AMD Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II 2GB.

And adding a HDD, Seagate 1TB Barracuda 3.5" Sata3 7200rpm 64MB. And i would move my games and other apps into the HDD, and the OS i would leave in the SSD.

My current specs:

GPU = AMD Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II 2GB
RAM = 8GB 1333MHz
PSU = Corsair CX500 500W (modular)
Motherboard = H81-PLUS
CPU = i5-4440 3.1GHz
SSD = HGST HTS545050A7E380 500GB
Case = CoolerMaster K282

I would like to know if this upgrade would work, and if i can somehow move my games and other apps from the SSD to the new HDD, or do i need to reinstall all my games?

gfx card = graphics card
You can try to drag the folder to the new location, but I doubt Win will know what to do with it w/o a new install.

How about just dragging a game to the new HDD, because i don't have only Steam/Origin games, i have other too that i have just downloaded from somewhere. Will it work anymore, or will it take the same time like if i would download it again?

and what do you mean by ''the gfx card''?

Oh okay i just wasn't sure about the GFX because the RX480 has a card called XFX RX480 8GB also :??:

I will be ordering my parts right away thank you very much you helped me alot i appreciate it
