Okay so this is the first time I have my computer during the summer. Usually during the winter my temperatures are 17c idol and 40c load
I want to know if this is normal, but to me it seems weird. When i first boot up my PC, the temperatures are at 0c... legit 0c and im pretty sure if it can show negative temperatures it would be negative. Then when i open google chrome and look back at the temperatures, they spike up to 40, and slowly move down to 35. then when i exit out of google chrome and wait a while, the temperatures are still 35
so my questions are: why does my temperatures spike up 40c immediately when i didnt do anything heavy on google chrome, and why it doesnt go back to 0c when i close google chrome and leave it. Also is it normal for 35c idol and 40-50c for load temperature. My temps while i wrote this was 35c
OH also my apu is amd a10-5800k with stock cooler and stock settings. Please let me know if i forgot to add something.
I will update from time to time

What software do you use for temperature monitoring? I recommend HWmonitor, which is mid-user friendly and has current/min/max temperature recording. Also, what's the room's temperature?

i use Open Hardware Monitor and Core Temp, both say the same. But when i used HWmonitor it gave me these weird results with 80c even though it clearly wasnt 80c and my room temp.. is im not sure honestly lol im in a basement (ikr so stereotypical fat gaming nerd on a computer living in their moms basement) with the AC on at 68f so i guess its 68degrees

No one stereotiped you man, chill...we are mostly gamers just like you. I honestly trust HWmonitor and Speccy the most, they have pretty accurate results. Could you tell us what your CPU and cooler are? Also I'm pretty sure 68 degrees aren't the same as 68f: 80=176. So you might wanna check the units of the software aswell.-
