Hi, I am in the middle of my first PC build and I have fitted everything and it is all running fine and great however my BIOS for my Gigabyte micro atx mobo isn't showing my western digital caviar blue hard drive up meaning that I can't install Windows 10 as there's no drive to install it to. I checked all of the cables and all seem fine and in the right place but still no luck! Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi there hannaholivia29,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

Even though it seems that the cables are properly connected, my suggestion would be to attach the drive with different ones to another port. Is the HDD even powering up?

In case the issue persists, then you can attach it to another, working computer so you can be sure if there is something wrong with your system or the HDD itself.
If the drive is not recognized over there as well, then I believe you can contact the place you got it from or WD's Support and eventually RMA it: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=e2LSKR

Let us know how this goes,
