Morning all,
I am helping a friend overclock his 2500k, going for 4.5 and all is going well in Intel Burn Test so we are dropping the voltage. However, I've noticed that no matter what I set the core voltage to, CPU-Z shows it as a fluctuating number. For example, we have it set at 1.30 at the moment and the machine is idling but CPU-Z shows the core voltage anywhere between 1.332 and 1.356.
Is there another setting I need to change that I have missed that is allowing this?
