pcie to sata power cable

I snipped off the extra sata extension off the 6pin molex sata power cable .\in a nutshell my SSD doesn't like it.Now I need to get another one,preferably colour coded (white or red) where can I buy one?
Will a GPU sata cable do this ? I have a free sata extension from my other drives but they don't reach ...
Guessing its not a molex ... seems to be more like a 6 pin pci e...

Really easy choose....

you have red and white... sata have 3 and 6....

now see who between them sata6 or sata3...

then see what you motherboard support...

now choose.

power from psu (evga supernova 750w) is like a pcie and has 6 pins (male/female unsure) would send you a picture but dropped my mobi .... anyhoo is marked "sata" on PSU and is 6 pin on one end of the cable and has two sata powers on the other end (but I snipped one off)

my mistake mate , connector on psu end is more like a pci e ...
