Intel i5 4690K High Idle Temp

My idle temp at 3.5Ghz used to be around 30 degrees Celsius. In the past 2 days, it has risen to 60 degrees Celsius. My fps in gaming has decreased dramatically, from running CS:GO at 200 fps down to only 40 fps. The only applications that I have open are a few Google chrome tabs and youtube. Any help is appreciated.

If you are using the stock cooler, it is likely that the cooler has come loose.
Look at the pushpins from the back of the motherboard.
All 4 pins should be through and locked.
There should be no wiggle if you nudge the cooler.
I assume the cooler fan is spinning, and your case has sufficient airflow.
If in doubt, take the case covers off and see if that makes a difference.
