Hey, i've got an S6 Edge and a technicolor router (used as an extender). The router doesn't pop up on the wifi list on my phone, however, if i download a 3rd party wifi manager it pops up, but i can't connect, it's just on the list but there's no signal level or no information about it. On the back of the router there's a switch, i can choose between: Auto, Access point or Station. What should i do? I'm kind of inexperienced with routers. Thanks!

Edit: theres some WPS button on the router, i tried it with my phone but it didn't seem to work.

Its possible, that the wifi device you are trying to connect to is operating on a frequency that the S6 cant connect to. Most wi-fi devices will let you configure this at their configuration web page. But before doing so have a look and see what Wi-Fi connection standards are supported by your phone, is it Wi-Fi G, N, AC? once you have that you can confirm what is serviced by your home Wi-Fi kit.

Remember also that a range extender must also support the same standards if it is to be used by a device.. For example if you have a Wi-Fi N device but only a Wi-Fi G extender the N device may not see or connect to it. Good luck!
