DOOM random freezing during gameplay

All my other games work fine. A few weeks ago I updated my AMD drivers and the other day I decided to buy doom. It runs fine on my PC (low 60fps) and I've had 6 hours on it already but since today, I've been playing it and it just randomly freezes out of nowhere.

I have to then open task manager and close the game as it says it has stopped responding.

Any suggestions to what this issue is / if anyone else has this problem?

I also verified the game's cache too.

I have been using monitor software but not for about a month. I used to use it 24/7 because I worry a lot about my PC. It's only been recently I've stopped using it, so I'll play the game and see how temps do.

If not, I'll reinstall.
