I have a p6754y and have updated KENTEK 600 Watt power supply.. would like to know which graphic cards i am able to put in this computer. Can someone put a list of some that is able to work on it.. Thanks Celestina
Thank you so much for your response.. My budget as long as it is not too high.. If I were to upgrade the processor would it make the graphics run better. and what processor can i put in it.. Sorry if asking alot of questions. I am to new to rebuilding my computer.
When dealing with an OEM PC like an HP, it is best to not stray too far from their recommended CPU selection. You'll find it in the link I sent above under "Processor/Processor Upgrade Information". However, all those CPUs are now obsolete and can generally only be found used someplace like Ebay. Personally, I would stay with what you have and look into a GTX 960 like one of these...
If this is your PC, it should accept any modern PCIe x16 card you can afford. http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02628380
However, your Aging Athlon II x4 will bottleneck most cards faster than... let's say a GTX 950/960 or R9-380. Do you have a budget limit? New or used?

Open your case and measure from the expansion slot covers at the back of the case, along the PCIe x16 slot, to the first obstruction you come to; usually the drive cage. Then find a card that has a length less than that. The dimensions are listed in the cards' descriptions.
