Lenovo G510
intel core i5-4210M
windows 7 ultimate
broadcom 802.11n network adapter

For almost a month i've been having issues with my laptop because it randomly disconnects from network for a reason i still can't identify.
It may work fine for an hour, then the wireless network card disconnects. Every now and then, or every 10 minutes, depends on the day i guess.
i've been reading lots of forums about this and found nothing to work so far
this is what i tried:
-everything is on maximum performance
-i unclicked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
-disabled some "ip helper" in services
-checked everything that has to do with the router (changing channels, interference with other routers or wifi's), the hardware part SEEMS just fine(the laptop is pretty new, it has like an year and never had any problems with it)
-checking for drivers updates, it says that i have the latest version
-fully scanned the laptop for viruses and none was detected
-didn;t install any program lately that might cause this
-network signall is excellent

And still nothing worked. NOTHING. I'm really desperate right now. The only thing that makes the network work again almost instantly (like5-10 sec while if i let it restart by itself it takes from 2 minutes to even 30-40 minutes) , is turning off and then on again the wireless network card (i do that by pressing the airplane mode button)
so any help pleaseeee? i noticed that this happens to a lot to other users too.

What make and model router are you using?

Does the problem occur when you are connected to other networks: friends, family, work?

Do other devices on your network have any disconnect problems?

Check your laptop's Event Viewer logs for error messages that occur just before or at the time of the disconnect.

Ralston18 ,
I'm using Router Wireless D-Link DIR-850L, AC1200, Dual Band Cloud
No, this happens on my laptop only, and the router can't be the problem, it's pretty new too
How do i check the event viewer? I.m by far good or experienced in this field of expertize,i need to be told step by step what to do

Excellent. Event Viewer can be overwhelming and often quite cryptic.... Or the error code may cover a broard range of things.

That said, the next step is to start googling the error code(s). I usually limit the search range to the last year or so just to start.

After that it becomes a matter of reading through the various links and trying to correlate the symptoms and solutions with respect to your configuration. Things will hopefully narrow down to some concensus with regards to the source of the problem and a fix thereafter.

Look for links that are on the manufacturer's website. Especially if the problem is known but not widely experienced.

Be very careful of downloading anything that offers to scan and fix "your problem". Some sites pop up no matter what you google. Do not blindly click any links or utilities that pop up.

In addition post the error codes and messages here. Someone may recognize the situation and be able to offer an immediate suggestion or two.

wuaueng.dll (1048) SUS20ClientDataStore: Unable to read the header of logfile C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\edb.log. Error -546.

this is the text of the error that happens the most often

I have googled that error and have two general leads: Windows update related problem and/or a corrupted ebd.log

Here is a brief explanation of it all:

http://www.cryer.co.uk/file-types/e/edb.htm

See if you can find any more sets of error messages that are related or otherwise occurring with the problem(s).

As usual I did see a couple sites with "fixes". Do not really know the problem per se and certainly not the "fixes" being offered.

Possibly so.

Sometimes error messages are too generic and cover a wide range of happenings.

For the time being, I would keep looking for additional error messages and some specific ways to support that conclusion or to eliminate other possibilties.

Search through some of the other logs. One thing I do is to clear the logs and that makes it easier to find errors if the computer is bootable and for the most part working correctly (setting aside the disconnect problem). Some logs will be empty.

And I agree with BadActor. Check the network card and reseat it securely. Or try the older driver. Eliminates possibilities or may bring about some change in the error codes should there be multiple problems ( aka a "perfect storm") situation causing the disconnects.
