My friend gave me his Asus CG5275 Desktop and I plan to make it for gaming.
It has a i5-650 processor @ 3.20 ghz but the Gpu is awful(Intel HD Graphics)
The motherboard which is Asus P7H55-M
it has one PCI x16 slot and outputs 400w(power)can I install the Zotac GTX 750 Ti onto the motherboard and is it compatible-thx

Good choice. The 950 will allow for much more leeveway than a 750 ti. The 750 ti is becoming terribly outdated these days. Soon every game will need to be played on low for 1080p/60...

Of course. MoBo has x16 slot and enough wattage.

I believe the 750 ti only needs 300w if I remember correctly. For sure I remember it was somewhere in the low 300w range.

Also, CPU is good for GPU.

After more research I am going to buy the GTX 950 instead of the 750 ti(About a extra 50.00)its worth it because I will later be upgrading the motherboard and CPU(I'm sure the CPU intel i5-650 @3.2 ghz will be fine for the GTX 850)I figure if my Cpu bottlenecks later down the road before I can upgrade it I'll overclock to get better performance.

Good choice. The 950 will allow for much more leeveway than a 750 ti. The 750 ti is becoming terribly outdated these days. Soon every game will need to be played on low for 1080p/60 FPS. Some already are. The 950 will give you much more time to enjoy med-high settings on newer games.

and the CPU will likely bottleneck you soon, but it's still good for the GPU you're getting. It's a 3-digit i5, meaning it's one of the first i5's that came out back in the late 2000's or 2010 (can't remember.) That's pretty old! 4th gen Haswell i3's are better than your i5.
