Motherboard - msi z87 g45
RAM - G.skill 2x4GB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455

I've tried multiple variations of slotting the RAM, tried dual slotting in slots 1&3, then 2&4, each time i try to dual slot my computer will either 1) Freeze on startup 2)Shutoff randomly while launching a game.

When i slot only one RAM stick in slots #1 or #3 my computer will work flawlessly, no freeze or shutoffs randomly (It's only when i dual channel).

I'm not exactly what to do next at this point, it doesn't seem its the #1 or #3 slots on the Mobo since they work fine with one RAM stick, both RAM sticks seem to function properly alone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks.

Solution
Try with 1 stick and raise the DRAM voltage + 0.06 i.e. set DRAM voltage to 1.56, save, exit, shutdown and add the second stick. Let us know
