Basically what the title says. I'm trying to OC my 6700k, but I can't seem to get the voltage override to work properly. Everytime I get out of the BIOS after selecting the Manual mode then entering in my desired voltage, I go to stress test with Intel Burn Test. While these tests take place I keep an eye on CPU-Z to see that my chip keeps getting undervolted to voltages that are sometimes even .100 off from what I set in the BIOS. For example: I set my manual override voltage to 1.365v to test a 4.6Ghz OC. However, when I started the Burn Test I saw that the chip was actually being fed 1.344v and then down to 1.318, then BSOD. So, my question is, how to get the CPU to stay at my desired voltage?

Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Go into Extreme Tweaker tab in BIOS, navigate to DIGI+ VRM and change CPU Load Line Calibration to the desired setting.

Upping this setting will stabilize voltage delivery, at the cost of higher VRM thermals. Please keep an eye of the temperature of the heatsink on the VRMs next to and above the socket. If at any time either heatsink exceeds 100C, shut down immediately and decrease CPU Load Line Calibration setting.

I recommend going to Lowe's or Home Depot and buying a cordless thermometer, the most popular are usually infrared sensors. It's usually held in your hand like a small pistol.

You could also buy it online.
