Titan X Back Plate Compatibility

Hello,

Just a quick question today. I need to get a back plate for my titan to add a little re-reinforcement so I can sleep safely with the HG10 N980 bracket installed. Of course, there is not a Titan X plate to be found anywhere. From what I can tell, the plates for the 960/970 (ref) should be compatible. Is this the case?

Those cards use an entirely different PCB, not to mention a different length too.
The only backplates still available are magnetic, so they would add nothing structurally. I would find another way to hold up the board if needed.

Have the plates completely gone out of production? I have just seen a lot of reviews stating that my adapter can bend the PCB quite easily, and would really hate to have that be the case.

They were only in production for a short period of time. Small market and all.
I personally would not bother with the Corsair kit. They generally do not cool the VRMs and memory well, and cost too much for what they do.

If you need a better cooling solution, I would recommend a full cover waterblock.

Sure, a full cover block would be great, but that costs more and would require a full loop. This way, I can get cooler than 83C temps under load without breaking the bank.
