Help with Batch Renaming

Hi everyone - Just wanted some help and batch renaming. Anyone that can help me would save me hours of my life. It would be much appreciated.

I have 200 files in a folder and I need them renamed.

These are examples of how the files are currently named;

1980 - Video1.avi
1981 - Video2.avi
1982 - Video3.avi
ETC...

I want the file names to be like this
Video1 (1980).avi
Video2 (1981).avi
Video3 (1982).avi

Would anyone know how to make a script or easiest way to do this ?

Total Commander has a Multi-Rename tool and uses RegEx. Try it out and see if it's good for what you need.

Check Rename It as well, it seems capable of what you need.

Very easy to do with a simple RegEx and a for loop. It is a 1 line task.

I used BULK RENAME UTILITY

it was a very hard to use and complicated, but it did the job and it was free, so I can't complain
