Possible Ram Compatibility issue?

Hi,

I am building a new computer and have bought the rampage edition 10 motherboard along will be using i7 6950x chip.

By mistake i ordered the wrong memory Corsair CMD64GX4M4B3333C16 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3333MHz Dominator Platinum. From specification its for intel 100 series platform.

Would there be any compatibility issue using this ram and also any performance issue if it is overclocked.

Your motherboard supports a maximum of DDR4 3333. So itll work perfect unless you try an overclock it. From there its uncertain. But theres really no reason to overclock something with that speed. The increase in performance would be minimal an not worth the effort.
