Alright, so I'm thinking of getting a 980, my PSU is 750w and I have been using a 6 pin connector. I just found out, about 20 minutes ago, that I have an adapter from 6 pin to 8 pin. My question is will it be enough for a 980 and will it be enough to overclock? I have an msi gtx 960 at the moment and it's been overclocked for 8 months now with the 6 pin connector since I just started using the adapter I don't know if there is any difference. I heard that you shouldn't overclock with adapters though is this true?
