So for the last month or so I have been having 2 issues.

1. Is that whilst gaming my computer will randomly BSOD on me. My screen goes black, the sound remains normal for about a second or two before it starts chopping up and looping the last bit it played. This requires me to hold the power button and restart the PC. -> These are what I have troubleshooted out of the problem
(MEMTest - NO errors)
(Not overheating)
(Can run intense video/3D rendering with no crashes) -> only seems to happen with video games.
(Event viewer shows no logs of issues)
(GPU is half a year old, This issue is a month or two old)
(Registry has been cleaned and fixed via CCleaner)
(Overclocking and removing the Overclocking)

2. When logging into windows I finish the very last stage of logging in. When it would normally make the noise and go to my desktop. It stops, I have and can move around my cursor. but the rest of the screen is black. It stays like this for anywhere between 10 seconds and what seems like a minute. It is really frustrating. Especially when playing a CSGO comp and my computer crashes and then I have to wait even longer to get back in :l.

PC SPECS
CPU - i7 3820 @ 4.2Ghz
GPU - GTX 980TI Strix Edition
RAM - 2x8 (16) GB 1600Mhz ADATA
MBOARD - Rampage IV Extreme
PSU - 1200 Watt (yes i know overkill af)
C: 256GB SSD
D: 1TB 10krpm HDD
E: 1TB Samsung Evo something something SSD

Note: I am considering de-clocking (is that a word? :D) my GPU via MSI afterburner. But I reaaaaaalllllyyyyy don't want to do that and with my excessive PSU I don't think that is the problem. It was also stable on the same clock well before that. And by "de-clocking" I mean going below factory settings because those are what it's currently at.

It may also be worth noting for the last like 3 years my games at some point will randomly force tab out twice in a row (always twice in the space of like 1 minute) then not do it again (it also makes the error noise like when you click outside of a compulsory prompt). I also get relatively frequent display driver crashes.

Definitely need to try without an overclocked CPU and GPUs; only time I've had similar issues was with unstable overclocks on CPUs. Also make sure your bios is up to date. Since you list your i7 3820 @4.2Ghz I would reset it to stock clocks and see how that goes.

Thanks for the advice, I will try this and report on the results over the next few days. Have you got any idea about the black screen upon login or the tab outs?

Don't usually have that unless it's with Skyrim+ENB, unstable GPU overclock, or graphics drivers on the tab outs. Black screen on login I've experienced with unstable overclock.

I have had this tab out issue across 2 Nvidia GPU's and over multiple versions of their drivers. I will check event viewer upon tab outs to check for more info.
