Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Need help with this problem. Only in CSGO, the game will checker all over my screen with multi coloured checkers, then the game will freeze, turn black for about 10 seconds, then come back, and keep repeating till I get frustrated and restart the computer the checker effect doesn’t appear on other games but the game keeps crashing after a couple of seconds. Additionally, I have weird shapes appear on CSGO that covers the whole screen making it impossible to see. I have reinstalled drivers, reinstalled CSGO, reinstalled Windows lowered my saturation and tried putting my GPU in my friend’s computer and I got the same problems.

I think that the problem might be with my monitor due to the 60hz refresh rate and I get over 200 fps for CSGO so that might conflict with each other giving these weird shapes and this checked effect, honestly I have no idea of what’s happening and wanted professional advice and didn’t want to give it to the manufacturer straight away plus the GPU is brand new recently got it. I had the same problem with my previous GPU and gave it to my manufactures and it took 1 month and they couldn’t identify the pro

blem so they gave me a replacement which I’m having the same problem I’m so frustrated can someone please give some advice because I’m confused, here are my specifications:

Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Graphics card: XFX Radeon R9 380 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card
Motherboard: Asus B150-PLUS D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Power supply: be quiet! 530W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Monitor: Asus VE247H 23.6" Monitor

P.s. I’ve checked my CPU temperature in game and I get around 50oC MAX and fans are at full speed and i also use windows 10.

Solution
This should answer your question; in order to run an R9 380, you'll need a combined 30-35 of continuous amps. Where as your dual 28 + 20A rails only have a combined 48A. The combined amps of a multi rail is about 70-75% of if you were to add them together. Ex: 28 + 20 = 48A, 72.5% of 48 is 34.8, therefor your combined amps are 34.8A
And the rest of the pc components will make that 34.8A run out very fast then you crash

I might base my career on hardware or programming having difficulty deciding because i love both.
