cloned hard drive to ssd

hello
i have a SSD (c) 250gb with win 10 on and a 1000Gb (e) hard drive, iv just got a second SSD to replace the 1000gb hard drive so i cloned it then unpluged the 1000 gb and the programs on the cloned SSd wouldnt work why?

does it see it as the same drive? what error are you getting?

the drive or network connection that the shortcut 'steam.ink' refers to is unavailable. make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, then try again.
this is me trying to open steam which was on the 1000Gb and is unpluged

right click on the shortcut and look at the property, see if it point to the right location.

so it working on the ssd?
reset the 1000GB? you mean format it? are you 100% sure the ssd have all the HDD data? just need to plug it in and format it.
