Basically I just built my first PC with an A4-6300 processor, a gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 motherboard, a 500 watt psu and I'm thinking of putting in a nvidia750ti but that's not important basically I can't get into bios via hdmi, so wondering for that motherboard or a gigabyte motherboard what's the main default display setting so like vga, dvi to show the bios on screen thank you

Literally I get no boot screen, I get nothing no picture as soon as it starts, I've read some posts about pressing the delete key on the keyboard I do that every time the computers switched on and still nothing so I'm lost but the motherboard seems to work Cah my cpu fan spins, my power button works and everything works just not boot screen, I'm basically trying to get to the boot screen to install windows but nothing

Well that's a rather different issue than "can't get in to BIOS" which you said in your first post. Of course you won't see the BIOS settings if your monitor isn't displaying anything at all!

So the real issue is that there's no video signal getting to the monitor - right?

Let's get the simple troubleshooting steps dealt with first.I suggest you first confirm that the monitor hasn't packed up by hooking it up to another rig or a laptop.

You don't need a graphics card just to get the monitor working - - it will get video signal from the graphics chip on the A4 APU - - or at least it would do if everything was working okay (which it doesn't seem to be in your case).

You only need to add a graphics card if the APU graphics isn't powerful enough (eg to play the latest. graphics-intensive games).

How's that monitor test coming along?

Support for ON/OFF charge

That refers to the motherboard's USB ports. You can charge a phone or tablet from the ports regardless of whether the PC is on or off (ie the USB ports remain "live" even when you shut down the PC (provided you don't unplug the PC from mains supply or switch off the PSU).
