That temperature is a little too high and may cause the card to downclock. Ideally, you want it to stay below 70C Change your fan profile to come on sooner and higher.

Hello... What FAN speed (%) is associated with your 82C temperature? I find most Older Nvidia cards, like your Model, will run in the Low 80's when gaming. AS a "Simple Test" take a cover off your case and re-check your Temp and Fan speed... to see if ample Cool Air, Could changes these GPU numbers.

Hello... the STD BIO's firmware should have your GPU FAN idling at 30-33% fan speed... Have you DL'd the small app GPU-Z? it is great graphical analysis tool, I use for my Nvidia cards and my Firmware Mods. https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2627/techpowerup-gpu-z-v0-8-7
Typically you will see Visual artifacts when the GPU/Mem is being Thermally challenged... but Low eighties is not BAD, BUT also you don't want be at 100% Fan speed OR 0% either... this could mean some other problem with the Firmware, hardware, Thermal Paste, Fans, room/case air temp.
