Right now, I have
Processor : AMD FX 8350 @ 4GHz (8Cores)
CPU Cooler : Water 3.0 Extreme/All-In-One Liquid Cooling System
Motherboard: SABERTOOTH 990FX
Memory : Team Group Elite Plus Heatsink 8GB DDR3 1600 x 2
SSD : Transcend SSD370S 128GB
GPU : AMD Sapphire Radeon R9 390X
PSU : Thermaltake Toughpower 750W 80GoldPlus (Crossfire/SLI)
Case : CoolerMaster CM 690III (Window) Black

Is it worth upgrading to a Intel Core I7 6700K + Asus Z170ProGaming + DDR4Rams ?
I have seen the R9 390X performs better in I7s than in 8350.

I'd say upgrading to a GTX 1080 for the same price would net you more FPS to $ although Skylake would also be a good call.

As n0ns3ns3 said, it will be $500 in hardware to upgrade, and that is assuming you either have a Retail windows license or you can get Microsoft to re-activate.

You will se noticeable improvement in games, even more in things like video encoding and 3d modeling.
As far is if it is worth the $500, that is a personal matter that only you can answer.

It won't hold it back that much, sure the minimum fps will be slightly lower but it won't be that bad. I'll just leave the benchmark here so he can see although I'd just get a GTX 1070 then wait for Zen considering he has been on that old platform for so long.

Exactly what I think not ideal but might aswell hang it out for Zen or Kaby now. I don't think AMD Zen will be that awesome but it might surprise us!

Fury X is only 40% behind the GTX 1080 so I wouldn't worry too much. I agree anything more than a GTX 1080 and he would certainly need a new CPU but like I said just hold out for the new platforms coming soon.

Sorry I forgot to mention that WHAT IF I exchange my FX 8350 + 8150 + 4100 + Sabertooth 990FX R1 + MSI 760GMP34 and add 80-100$ for the Intel Core i7 6700K + Asus Z170ProGaming + TeamGroup 8GB @ 2400MHz DDR4 So worth the upgrade?
