I unplugged my computer when I went to camp, then when I plugged it back in I noticed that I was getting lower frames on my games and everything I do was lagging a bit. Not sure what to do. I use to get 60fps straight playing league, now it drops and lags a lot during team fights. Playing overwatch on Ultra was giving me no problem too, but then it became hard to play aswell.

What I tried:
-Reinstalling Windows
-Cleaning Computer (Dust)
-Used CCleaner
-Malware-Bytes
-Put on new thermal paste

Pc Specs
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
16GB RAM
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU
1TB HDD
Running Windows 10 Home
120GB Samsung SSD

Solution
Hi there Harambros,

The fact that the issue persists even after a clean OS installation, could point towards a hardware related cause.
Is your system overclocked?

Here are a couple of things you can try:
- Sometimes, a failing drive could result in similar frame drop. You can test your HDD with a tool that can provide a SMART report: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
Back up your data in case there is something wrong with it.
- Test your RAM.
- Observe Resource Monitor and see if there is high usage of any of the components.
