Question about K70 RGB Rapidfire

I heard reviews that the Cherry MX Speed switches only have 1.2mm of key travel. While the number seems great for gamers and typers, the number is about the same as an ultrabook's keyboard, which is not pleasant because I want to feel and realize that I'm typing. What do you think? Is it true that typing with the K70 RGB Rapidfire feels the same as typing with an ultrabook's keyboard?

Solution
I would not say it feels the same. The actuation distance may be low, however they do have a more tactical feel to them.

Do note, that due to manufacturer set acceptances MX speed switches can actually have the same actuation distance as MX Reds.

Oh, ok. I am considering to buy the K70 because of the Speed switches, but when I heard the actuation from a video review, I was concerned. Thanks for making this clear. I am considering between K70 RGB Rapidfire and STRAFE RGB with MX Silent ($20 difference). Which one do you choose?
