Okay so I want to build a gaming pc for under $700. Ive already found computer parts that I think are decent, but i wanted to ask the community if this is the most bang for my buck and if these parts are compatible. Also when building this is a anti static wrist ban and mat necessary?

Parts:

Geforce gtx 960

Intel Core i5-6500 processor

Gigabyte GA-H110M-A LGA 1151 mATX

Crucial 8gb 2×4gb ddr3

WD Blue 1TB hard drive

Cooler Master Thermal Master Mid Tower ATX Computer Case With 500w Power Supply

That motherboard uses DDR4 RAM so you would need to switch that. I wouldn't use a DDR3 motherboard or RAM because Intel says that the memory controller may be damaged long term unless using DDR3L. With the RX 470 out now, you might consider that instead of the 960, better performance for about the same price. The PSU with that case has enough watts, but it's not a very good power supply. I would use something a little higher quality to protect all my new parts. The anti static wrist strap isn't mandatory if you install the PSU into the case and plug it it first. Build your PC on a non conductive surface and touch the case frequently and before picking up any parts to discharge any static.

That graphics card is about $100 more than the gtx 960, is there anything other card that gives more performance for not as big of a jump in cash? And so if I just change my ram to ddr4 it'll be fine with the mother board I chose? And for the case and power supply bundle do you know of any bundle that has a suitable power supply with it
