I got a Digital Home P5W DH Deluxe
Motherboard that i bought and in him was a core 2 duo cpu and he worked flawless. But then I decided to upgrade to a better CPU. The Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz they say that the motherboard supports it... so i put it in and turned it on...it just turns on no POST no beep nothing on the screen... and after a while the fan turns off and everything else was running so I immediately turned off.
So I thought that the fan was the problem then i got a new fan. So I turned it on again and this time it turned on no POST no beep nothing on the screen... but after a while the fan didn't turn off. The motherboard is working the GPU is working the hard drive is also working everything because I tested it on another motherboard and I even tried other Power supplies. Is there any way i can fix this?
(I also tried clearing the CMOS)
I have the manual.
And im not so good with underatanding the jumper settings or whatever that is?...
