Hi there,
Around a year ago I decided to build myself a PC. It was my first PC but everything went pretty smoothly. (Except for a faulty motherboard) I installed windows 7 onto my system and everything was fine.
However a few weeks ago when I upgraded to Windows 10 a lot of problems have stated to occur. These are the Problems I have been experiencing:
1. Computer won't boot, makes clicking noise from PSU.
2. The PC is getting power because the LED indicator on the motherboard is on however nothing turns on when I press the power button.
3. Sometimes if I'm lucky the PC will boot but this is only very rare. To do this I held down the power button and in a very short amount of time the PSU would click 5 times and the lights would switch on.
4. If the PC booted it would boot into Windows boot manager and I would have to hit F1 to enter the bios. In the bios my boot settings always have windows boot manager as first preference over my SSD which I installed windows on to. This would happen every time the computer would decide to turn on no matter if i change the order myself.
5. My graphics card has been very unusual, even when absolutely nothing was plugged in to the computer the 3 fans would systematically turn on and off in a specific order.
My specs are:
Intel I7 4770 (non K)
Gigabyte Windforce GTX 980
EVGA 750 Watt power supply.
16GBs of HyperX RAM
Corsair H55 Water cooler
Fractal Design Define R5
Samsung 850 EVO 256gb
Western Digital Hard Drive 2TB
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks Finn.
