MSI Z97 PC Mate LGA 1150 cpu compatible?

I am trying to see what kind of cpu is compatible with the MSI Z97 PC Mate LGA 1150. right now i have a AMD A8-5500 CPU in the computer i am using now. I am trying make a pc build for latter on.

You can't use an AMD cpu on an Intel board. MSI has a cpu compatibilty list in thier support page for that motherboard.

Those are AMD CPU's and can't be used with Intel socket motherboards. You need to match the socket type of the mother board and CPU. The Intel 1150 socket motherboard supports the following processors.

In addition, a motherboard may not support all the processors in that family. You need to check the CPU compatibility list on the motherboard's support page.
